About Guestlink Thanet
Guestlink Thanet is the software that enables tourism businesses in Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and the surrounding villages to manage their business details feeding them into our central database, often referred to as the Destination Management System (DMS).
The software is supplied by NVG and the business data is collected by us, Visit Thanet, the Destination Management Organisation and data steward for the area.
Guestlink Thanet allows accommodation providers to manage availability and process bookings and non-accommodation providers to manage venue details and events.
How does Guestlink work for you?
Guestlink Thanet allows accommodation providers to update their details, availability and prices. Accommodation providers who update availability regularly automatically rise to the top of the availability listings on Visit Thanet increasing the opportunity to receive bookings.
Attraction providers are able to manage their venue details and events with the opportunity to create their own customised accommodation mini site which will enable visitors to book short breaks or holidays with the opportunity to earn commission. All members can view their performance indicators for the business generated through Visit Thanet such as bookings, click throughs and referrals
The Destination Management System (DMS) database contains information about the tourism product in Thanet. It acts as a central database which means information is collected once and then fed out to many channels.
Channels include the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) network, Visit Britain websites (via a channel called Englandnet) and other various tourism related websites. It also feeds information to www.visitthanet.co.uk, the official tourism website for the area. Please see the Getting Started section to read about becoming a member of Visit Thanet.

Membership benefits and rates.
When your details have been added to the DMS our data steward will send you information on how to access your Thanet Guestlink account to enable you to keep your details up to date. Your business details will then be fed out to the TIC network, VisitBritain and VisitEngland (subject to a valid national inspection for accommodation providers). Should you choose to advertise with an associated website your details will also be featured on these sites.
