Taking a booking

You may wish to take request bookings, which are bookings that are not confirmed at the time of booking and you must therefore confirm or decline the booking yourself.

You could receive a booking via the telephone from a TIC or call centre . You can then confirm any details you need whilst on the call before deciding to whether to accept the booking.

You may also get request bookings online, where you will be notified by email or fax that a request booking has been placed. You can then log on to guestlink online at www.guestlink.co.uk where the details can be viewed. You must then confirm the booking directly with the customer using the email address or telephone number they have included on their booking form.

If you get a cancellation you can change the status of the booking online and re-open the availabililty so that these rooms, units or stock can be booked again.
